ALIS runs on geometry, not statistical inference. Most psychometric tools compare a person against a population sample and estimate from there. ALIS maps a person's own self-perception against a fixed structural architecture and derives everything else directly from that position. This includes how two entities interact, where a partnership, a team, or a family actually connects, and where cohesion and friction occur.
